Knowledge, Empowerment, Partnership
Asthma CAN be managed and ALL patients deserve quality care.  Empowered patients demand better care and understand the goals of treatment.  A national asthma campaign will help EMPOWER patients to PARTNER with their healthcare providers:
  • When asthma patients are EMPOWERED and take control of their own care, then the asthma becomes controlled
  • NAC will combine AWARENESS and EDUCATION efforts

NAC will plan the following to build a bridge to quality care:
  • Patient RESOURCES, enabling patients to take control of their asthma care
  • Clinician EDUCATION, helping to provide guideline-appropriate care
  • Advocated PARTNERSHIPS in asthma care
  • Help for underserved populations to ACCESS quality information and asthma care resources
